eMT cluster: The Technology Ecosystem in the Region of the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace
The goal of the eMT cluster is to reduce the cost of adapting businesses to digital transformation.
The first meeting of all the businesses and organizations participating as members in the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace technology innovation cluster, known as the eMT Cluster, was successfully held on March 1, 2021.
The 18 companies and organizations that comprise the eMT Cluster are: Alpha Plan Business Consultants, Act4εnergy R&D Services in Environmental and Industrial Biotechnology, APT Information Systems, Athens Technology Center IT Solutions (ATC), Cognitive Innovation (COGNINN) Research & Development in Information Technology & Telecommunications, Geosense Geoinformatics Solutions, ena Development Consultants, Engineers for Business Technology & Engineering Services, Explicit.ai New Technology Solutions, FM Business Consulting, LionCode Web & Mobile Solutions, MyIP net-Works Internet Services, OTS Information System Development, University of the Aegean, SEEMS IoT Solutions, TEN-06.gr Solutions for Business Digital Transformation, Vertitech/Classter Educational Software Development, and ZZDOT-Genet Software and Application Development.
Objectives
The objective of the eMT cluster is to develop a technology ecosystem that will accelerate and simultaneously reduce the cost of adapting businesses to digital transformation, introducing the concept of fast digital onboarding. The eMT cluster combines innovative methods that enables businesses of any size to incorporate comprehensive operational support technologies, while also focusing on adapting the human factor to the changes brought about by digital transformation.
The ultimate goal of the eMT cluster is to develop in the Eastern Macedonia-Thrace region a high-class technology innovation hub and a reference point for innovation at European level, which will contribute to the development of new technologies, attract scientists, and tangibly contribute to the increase in the region's and the country's GDP."
